Vikings are a brutal, ruthless race. They took what they wanted and destroyed anything that gets in their way. When Nania's village was plundered by a horde of Viking invaders, she tried her best to first hide and then fight off the men who took her village from her. Theo, the Viking leader, refused to bend to the small woman, yet she was somehow compelling. He and his compatriots took over the village and the village took them over, too. When cultures clash, do they come together, or do they pull further apart?

I just finished reading your story “Uninvited” and I loved it so much. Your writing is immersive, emotionally charged, and vividly atmospheric.I kept picturing how compelling it would look as a graphic narrative.
I really loved the opening in Chapter 1, where Nania’s village is plundered by Viking invaders. Her initial attempts to hide and then fight back against the men who took her village from her are both courageous and poignant. The contrast between her fierce determination and the overwhelming force of the invaders sets the stage for a gripping visual narrative. The clash of cultures and the evolving dynamic between Nania and Theo would translate beautifully into sequential art, capturing the intensity and complexity of their relationship.
Later, as the Vikings take over the village and begin to integrate into the community, the tension between resistance and acceptance creates a rich tapestry for visual storytelling. The interplay of emotions, from animosity to understanding, would be compellingly depicted through expressive character designs and dynamic compositions.
I'm a commissioned artist, and I'd love to draw “Uninvited” into a comic/manga. No pressure though.I just think your story's blend of historical drama and romance would resonate even more powerfully when brought to life visually.
