"Enjoyed this one. At its heart, the book is a sweet romance story with a healthy dose of action. The male main character, Yuri, is a futuristic military man on an important scouting mission. If Yuri is successful in his mission, he'll be rewarded with the life he yearns for. There's a deliberate twist after the first couple of chapters, then the female main character, Heather, is introduced. She's smart, beautiful, powerful, AND a mutant. Because Heather has mutant genes she's considered far inferior to Yuri. But he takes her on as his guide and the battle of wits begins! Great characters and world. Definitely recommend!"
