Chapter 1: Dimples
Amelia
As I was sitting in my room doing my homework, I got a text from mom "dinners ready" I responded with "ok one minute" I was incredibly close to finishing my essay and I was scared it would delete if I closed my laptop it took me 3 hours to finish one page,
so, I finished it up and headed downstairs.
"What are we having" I asked.
"Food" is the only thing she responded with. Thanks mom I didn't know. I just smiled I sat down and enjoyed my 'food' it was chicken with broccoli,
I was halfway finished eating when I heard my brother yell "I'm home." My brother was 20 his name was Liam he had light brown hair and baby blue eyes he was tall and pretty well built he had a decent amount of muscle, I ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug. "Hi, Dimples!" he said as he picked me up and spun me around.
"I missed you," I said staring at him with big smile plastered across my face he was in college studying to become a paramedic.
"I missed you too" he said
Mom heard us and ran to hug him. "I thought you had 2 more weeks before spring break," she said while hugging him. Mom let go and started examining him, she ran her hand through her silky blond hair and her eyes got wide. "YOU should have warned us that you were coming I need to find a place for you to stay," she said running up the stairs to the guest bedroom. Mom was 39, blond, had baby blue eyes just like Liams. She was short and had a great personality. I love her but she's a bit much sometimes.
Liam and I sat down so I could finish eating and so we could catch up a bit, I stood up with my plate and walked to the sink. I washed it and dried it then looked at Liam.
"Want to go for a walk?" I asked politely
"Sure," he said standing up.
"I texted mom and told her we were leaving for a bit," I told Liam.
"Ok," he said in a calming voice. We walked outside.
"I just realized something!" I blurted out.
"Yeah?" he said looking confused.
"Why didn't William come with you?" I asked. Why would you leave your twin brother alone at home?
"I-I can't stay Amelia" he stated.
"Why?" I asked concerned and confused at the same time, he just looked at me and sighed.
"You can't stay either," he said looking defeated. "What about mom?" I asked feeling kind of down.
"She has to stay here with dad," he said.
"But why can't I stay. It's not like there's anyone trying to hurt me," I stated stubbornly.
"SOMEONES STALKING YOU," he blurted out. He rubbed the nape of his neck and stared at the floor.
"What..." I muttered
