Very deep story
"This book, as well as the rest of the series, is incredible. It's really deep. It's not just a piping hot erotica, it's not just a romance that looks doomed and is fought by both main characters, it's not just a thriller, it's not just a psychological drama. It's all of the above and more. What I appreciate most about the book is the psychology of Asher and Maddy. I love the fact that there is no sugar coating, all the heavy raw emotions and thoughts are written brilliantly. Apart from Fennick and Maddy's father there are no good guys or bad guys - there are simply real people with their struggles. I love that the author isn't afraid to name properly what should be named - abuse is abuse, trauma is trauma,... One of the messages of this book is - mental health is really important, people, take care of it. No money, no love, no people in your life can do it for you. If you or a close one struggle, do something about it and get help. Ok, enough of dark thoughts - it's pretty long book, but fear not, fair readers, you won't even notice the time flying since from the page number 1 you won't even notice the sunset and later the sunrise. Perhaps set a timer(s) for closing the book down, otherwise you may not get any sleep. You've been warned :)"

The writing is raw, real, filtered through out with mind-blowing passion, commitment and courage!!! The seeing doesn't fit the dialogue
"I've read all of the discovering us books and the spin off books up to this one, in order. One of the main descriptors was that it takes place in America, and all but Violet and Ella have an American accent, however, one would assume the whole storyline takes place somewhere in England, since many things in context refer to terminology not used here in America. I don't mind it, but I have to keep reminding myself that it's supposed to be set in America, because I am forever hearing it in my mind as though all the characters are from England. Outside of that, I'm enjoying all the books. "
