Step 01 to becoming a kickass space agent.

"This book had the feel of Ender's Game and Artemis Fowl run into each other at top speed and crossed with ESP, only in a slightly more forgiving environment and aimed at a slightly younger audience. Although it didn't hold the deeper messages or humanity of Ender's Game, or the intricacy of Artemis I never felt it needed them, as the writing was engaging, easy to read, but not dumbed down as some books aimed at younger readers are, which I think was a great point from our author here, that adds a lot of value to his writing. Not only does it treat it's intended audience with respect, but is enjoyable for all ages. Cindy is a straight-laced, no-nonsense character with bundles of patience, and each of her companions is different, defined and memorable. I loved the father-daughter relationship in this book, and found it left quite an impression. I also love the future depictions of Cindy and can't wait to read more of her adventures to see who she becomes, although I would really like to see a more 3D aspect of her character and relationships. By the way, I know I'm probably supposed to ship Geordy, but can Tedy be canon instead? ^^ Tedy would be a great developer of the story, and Cindy, learning to live with the differences between them. Just putting it out there."

"Cindy Psi, a fantastic fictional sci-fi, is a gripping novel that hooked me from the start! It is well-written and I can't wait to read the next one - I am obsessed with it! I really hope this novel gets published and more are written so I can keep reading and the author can share a whole series with us! "

A great read for all age groups

"I am a grandmother and usually not very taken with sci-fi books, but a friend recommended I read this and I found it intriguing. It captured my imagination from the beginning. The plot is fast moving and kept me turning the pages. This should appeal to all age groups and I loved the fact that the heroine is a girl, but that should not be a deterrent to anyone who likes a great sci-fi read, because this book is just that, a great read. It is well written and I am now looking forward to a sequel. The writer is obviously very skilled and this book deserves to do well."

Gripped from the start

"As the title suggests 'i was gripped from the start'. Cindy Psi is an easy enjoyable read, from the start to its climatic end. Cindy is genuinely likeable, due to her caring and compassionate nature. Children will identify with the day to day school issues Cindy has to endure, and will also be excited for the sci-fi side that will allow them to escape normal everyday life. I can totally see this as a tv series in the future."

Cindy psi ~ review

"We are a nine year old boy and his considerably older Nan! My grandson thought it was a really good book and when he'd finished reading it to himself he wanted to start it again. We found it drew us in right from the start and that Cindy was a very sympathetic character. My grandson thought the plot was very good and it kept us gripped right through to the end. We would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone."

Brilliant Read

"I'm 24, and although this is labelled a children's book, I found it so grippingly written that I was hooked from around the end of the second chapter. Labelled a sci-fi novel, its concept is surprisingly original. It is quite unlike your standard superhero genre, but the hero-saviour theme is definitely present, only with a young girl as the thoughtful protagonist. The writing style gives an added ease and "relatability" to the general flow of the story. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good novel."

Cindy Psi

"I enjoyed reading this book, after the second chapter it really pulls you into a griping story that you can't put down until it's finished. Although it's been written primarily for children / young adults, I found the story well written and an enjoyable read. I quite look forward to the next instalment of Cindy Psi. "
