Introduction

Since childhood, we've been taught to repress our emotions, to hide our feelings, and definitely not to cry during Disney movies. (But seriously, who doesn't tear up at The Lion King?xD)

----

This book of poems reflects my own messy, imperfect, and wonderfully human journey to break free from society's shackles and the (sometimes ridiculous....) expectations of others.

Through raw and heartfelt verses, I explore what it means to feel deeply, embrace our flaws, and rediscover the strength in vulnerability.

---

If you've ever doubted yourself, questioned the world around you, or simply needed a reminder that it's okay to not be okay-this book is for you 🫡.

Sara Hutchinson: I love the storyline of this book, the plot is good. I love Toby and Christa, however, there is very little confrontation between the two of them, they never argue or disagree about anything. Whenever Toby and Christa reflect back on the past, the reflection seems long, reliving every single event t...
