Chapter 1

I stare blankly at the ceiling of my motel, tommorow I’ll be sleeping in a new room with other people. Or at least my people. They’re like me, weird addiction to ending precious lives and having the ability to do crazy shit.

I roll myself to my side as I grab the spare pillow next to me, I pull it between my legs and chest. What are my parents doing right now? I actually hope they’re staring down at me with proud happy smiles, but I dout it. I killed them, I remember every single wedge to their flesh and the noises they made in the process. Back then I had the nerve to smile.

My alarm goes off, it screams in my face until I chuck it out the window. I’ll let it bother someone else for once, as if I care. I push the pillow away and sit up. My head throbs with intense pain, probably because the lack of sleep. Whats the time?

I try to float my phone over to me that sits on the kitchen counter across the room, it collapses to the ground after four seconds of trying. I have to practice using my telekinesis, to mainly avoid making a laughing stock of me in the academy I’ll be attending in about seven hours. Fuck it, I stand and step forward to grab the mobile.

I open the email that got sent to me yesterday, it has the specifics I hadn’t had time to aknowledge and the way I’ll arive there and how long it would take. I scroll to the title transport and click on it, a number appears on the screen in bold.

Underneath reads the following words: call if in need of guidance and transportation needs.

I capture the number in my memory and dial it, the person awnsers before I could muster the courage to ask about the school that seems insanely ridiculous-

" Miss Tangerhut,” a soft female voice speaks impatiently, ” We are 1 minute away. Be ready Miss”

1 minute? We..? God I hope I wont regret this, well why would I..? I’m going to a school that teaches the best strategys and tactics to kill with incredible fucking powers, all which are different.

I yank my already packed suitcase/bag across the room and make myself face the door. I lift my hand to touch the handle but pause, why not practice now? I concentrate on the only thing stopping me from exiting the room and the handle bends, open the door in one swift move.

BANG!

Swift move huh... I look at the giant dent in the wall. Shit, shit, shit, shit! I find a random bookcase and shove it towards the hole, I hear somthing doing somersaults in there...I freeze and reposition myself so my ear is against the wall by the small trench in it. It sounds like a small creature..creatures..

Three mice hurriedly jump with energy at the bed, what the fuck? I let out a sigh as I force them to hover in the air with my ability, I go to the kitchen and grab a regular knife.

“Couldn’t miss an opportunity.” the last word was a cue for me to do them a favor. One by one, each of their tiny heads wound up onto the ground. The mices’ blood stains my mouth, didnt I say I’m not a fan of little murines?

My eyes find their way to another’s in the hallway, she’s pretty. Her blonde hair is long and shiny aswell for her tanned moist skin, must be the lady I spoke to.

“Miss Tangerhut.” she littrelly spins to the side and picks up her hands. I decide to reply,

" Lead the way.” we start to walk and make our way through the first hallway of the motel.
