What’s happening ?

Scene: A quiet garden in Auradon.

Bella, Crimson, and Scarlet are walking together, talking softly.]

Bella:

I just wanted some fresh air... this place feels a little overwhelming sometimes.

Crimson:

We get it, Bella. But don't wander too far, okay?

Scarlet:

I'm going to check the path ahead for a bit. Crimson, come with me.

Crimson:

Alright. Stay here, Bella. We won't be long.

Bella: (nodding)

Okay. I'll wait right here.

[Crimson and Scarlet walk off down the path, disappearing between the trees. Bella looks around, then takes a few steps forward, but suddenly she's gone — a brief flash, and the scene goes quiet.]

[Cut to Crimson and Scarlet returning, but Bella is missing.]

Crimson:

Bella? Bella! Where did she go?

Scarlet:

There's... something pinned to this tree.

[They find a folded note stuck on the tree. Scarlet carefully unfolds it and reads aloud.]

Scarlet:

"You're quicker than I thought. But the game has only begun. Follow the path where light fades and shadows grow.

- K."

Crimson: (clenching fists)

Kaelen... He's involved.

Scarlet:

Who is kaelen

Crimson: Kaelen is JASPER son

Scarlet: The… The villain jasper

Crimson: yes, he want his son to be more evil

Scarlet: we have to hurry and find our best friend Bella,

Crimson: ok let’s follow the path

[They decide to follow the clue, stepping deeper into the woods.

The scene shifts to them entering Silver Springs - a mysterious, calm forest realm.]

CUT TO SEABROOK

[Scene: Seabrook town square.

Jake and Misty are walking together, worried but determined.]

Jake:

Ever since Mom and Dad disappeared, things haven't been the same around here.

Misty:

Yeah. No one knows where they went or why. It's like they vanished into thin air.

Jake:

We can't just wait for answers to come to us. We've got to find them ourselves.

[Suddenly, a folded note drifts down and lands near their feet.

Misty picks it up and unfolds it.]

Misty:

What's this?

Jake: (reading aloud)

"The path to the truth lies where water whispers and silver shines. Trust only the light that guides you."

Misty:

Water whispers... That sounds like the old spring outside town - Silver Springs.

Jake:

If this is a clue, maybe Mom and Dad left it for us... or someone wants us to find them there.

[Misty looks at Jake, determination in her eyes.]

Misty:

Then that's where we're going.

Jake:

Together.

[They fist bump and start walking toward the edge of the forest, the scene fading as they enter the mysterious woods of Silver Springs.]

[Scene: A narrow forest path leading toward Silver Springs.

Crimson and Scarlet are walking cautiously, looking alert. From the opposite direction, Jake and Misty appear, equally determined but wary.]

Crimson: (stopping, surprised)

Hey! Whoa— I didn't expect to see anyone else here.

Jake: (raising an eyebrow)

Same here. What are you doing out this way?

Scarlet:

We're looking for someone. Have you seen a girl around here? Bella?

Misty: (shaking her head)

No... we're looking for our parents.

They disappeared a few weeks ago.

Jake:

Looks like we're after the same place, though. We both got clues leading to Silver Springs.

Crimson:

Hmm... maybe we should stick together. More eyes, more answers.

Scarlet:

Yeah, and it's not exactly the safest place to go alone.

Misty:

I'm in. We need all the help we can get.

Jake:

Alright. Let's find Silver Springs - and find out what's really going on

[They nod at each other, then continue walking down the path together as the scene fades.]

[Scene: Forest path, just before dusk. Crimson and Misty are leading the way, focused and determined.

Jake and Scarlet trail behind, talking casually.]

Jake: (chuckling)

So... you and Crimson — are you always this intense on adventures?

Scarlet: (smirking)

Only when our friend missing and the woods are full of weird clues.

Jake:

minds.

Fair. I guess we both got a lot on our minds

[Ahead, Misty stops and points at a crooked wooden sign peeking out from under some vines.]

Misty:

close.

Look - "Silver Springs." We must be

Crimson: (looking up at the sky)

And it's getting dark. We should find a place to rest.

[They move a bit farther and come across a quiet clearing. A glowing campfire crackles gently,

surrounded by wood log benches. A pot of beans steams above the flames, and wooden bowls rest nearby.]

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel

Feliz: I am learning a lot about hockey because of the almost commentator-like transcript that is part of the storytelling style of the book. I like it. Coming from a country where there is no hockey culture, I am beginning to understand why it has so many fans.

Bloodlines

lblomme: I always love a story where good overcomes evil. The sad start, the growth, and ultimate strength of the main character was well done. The story never lagged and ultimately delivered a happy ending even for characters who were less than stellar. Well done!

Silver's Second Chance

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
