Born from Nothing
I’m Sheri a self-taught graphic designer and web developer.
While the world was busy watching Netflix, I was watching free tutorials on YouTube.
No teachers. No courses. Just a stubborn belief that I had to create something different.
First came design, then coding. When I started making logos for others, I thought:
“Why not build my own website too?”
And I did with nothing but a dream, an old phone, and a borrowed laptop.
By my side was my closest friend, Ali a natural communicator.
He never designed anything himself, but he was the one who introduced me to the world.
In lead generation and customer service, no one could match him.
He had a way of talking that could turn words into deals and even when nothing worked, he’d at least leave people with hope.
We both came from a middle-class background.
Our homes were stable, but we weren’t.
Money was always short, but passion was overflowing.
We didn’t want jobs we wanted freedom.
To us, a job felt like servitude.
We wanted to be our own bosses, build our own brand, and most of all make our names known.
Sheri and Ali both dreamed of becoming fashion models.
For us, clothes weren’t just something to wear they were a form of expression.
We wanted to step into the world of fashion, but in our own way.
Sometimes we couldn’t even afford cigarettes, so we’d share one between us.
Sitting in the dark of the night, we’d talk about the future no guarantees, just faith.
Then one night, a simple idea changed everything:
“Let’s start our own brand. We’ll call it FASHIO. It won’t just be a clothing label it’ll be a mindset.”
We had no money.
We borrowed funds just to run ads.
Whatever little we earned from freelancing went straight into marketing.
But one thing no one could take from us was our mindset.
I created the brand’s logo, designed the mockups, built the FASHIO website,
and Ali he made people believe.
He showed them that FASHIO wasn’t just about clothes,
it was about attitude, vision, and belief.
Today, FASHIO is a recognizable name.
And we Sheri and Ali the same two guys who once couldn’t afford a single cigarette…
Can we really build our brand into something legendary?
Well, this is just the beginning.
