Microrelato

Un día, el titiritero comenzó su función. A veces el títere no se movía y se veía desagradable, por eso debía pintarse, arreglarse y ajustarse todos los días para ser perfecto.

En ocasiones la presentación venía del corazón, aún si dolía; otras veces venía de la mente, incluso si eso lo sobrecargaba.

Con el tiempo comienza a perder el control, el mundo logra ver los defectos, y las reparaciones se vuelven ineficientes.

El público elige no quererlos más, y al final mueren los dos.

Detrás del telón, el titiritero se castiga con crueldad, mientras el títere sufre en silencio.Ambos discuten, se lastiman y torturan sin cesar.

De pronto, un golpeteo en el espejo hace que giren su vista a la pared. Ahí, una pequeña niña sonriente los mira con calidez y entusiasmo.

—Lo han hecho bien. Hicieron lo que pudieron.

Ambos caen al suelo y desaparecen con el viento.

Por la mañana, una mujer logra sonreír por primera vez tras muchos años, sin saber por qué.

Ahora siente entusiasmo, libertad y seguridad.
