Introduction
Welcome to Light of the Broken Tongue, the third book in the Scentmarked series.
This series follows a world of dragons, magic, fate, ancient histories, dangerous creatures, and characters searching for where they belong. Each book has its own central story and romance, but the characters, places, mysteries, and worldbuilding continue from one book into the next, so I recommend reading the series in order.
Before you begin, you can explore the maps of the world if you would like a better sense of where the story takes place. The maps include dragon hordes, human cities, hidden forests, coastlines, kingdoms, and other important locations connected to the series.
Light of the Broken Tongue also takes the story into the fey kingdom, so there is an additional map for those locations as well.
I also do more than write the main stories. I really love worldbuilding, so I created The Scentmarked Archive as a separate published companion story. It contains the lore behind the series, including dragon elements, magical creatures, maps, locations, character details, histories, ancient texts, and other pieces of the world that do not always fit directly into the chapters.
You do not have to read the Archive to understand the story, but it is there if you want to explore deeper.
