Back In Maplewood
It's been over a year since Casey, Elsie, and Faye helped solve the mystery of the Cookie Bandit and became known for their treats and their pastry know-how. Lucky for them, they have 2 new employees and Sweet Sleuths to work with.
First on deck is Taffy Billing. Casey & Elsie's childhood friend from the boonies and Clue Analysis Extraordinaire.
Second is The Cookie Bandit herself, Poppy Glazewell. As part of her atonement to the town of Maplewood, she willingly agreed to work as a Sweet Sleuth to work off her sentence.
However, the girls have received little to no mystery casework since the Cookie Bandit Case wrapped up.
It seemed like the girls were going to work in Cumble Cafe under the same boring baking routine every day until a furry new case came crawling through the door.
