"The Never Ending Saga Of Chaos Starts"
Som rushes down the staircase, slightly out of breath, adjusting his bag as he tries not to be late.
"Hey! wait- Som!" He freezes for a second
A voice calls out again, closer this time
"The professor is calling you!"
Som turns quickly, confused for a moment, then nods and starts moving faster towards the classroom.
Just as he reaches the hallway-
Thud
He bumps into someone
"Ah - sorry!"
Both of them pause.
"Are you okay?" The other boy asks
Som blinks, then gives a small, easy smile.
"Yeah,... I'm fine. You?"
"I am fine too," the boy replies, slightly awkward
After a small moment
"Hey... My name is Pim. What's yours?"
Som adju6his bag again, already stepping back.
"Som."
And before Pim can say anything else-
Som is already gone, running towards class.
Pim watches him disappear, a small smile forming.
"...Som. what a cute name"
Som reaches the classroom, slightly out of breath.
He pauses at the door.
The professor looks up.
"Som. Come here."
The room goes quiet.
Som walks in, casual as ever like nothing is wrong.
"Did you bring your assignment?"
Som gives an easy smile.
"I'll submit it today, sir."
The professor sighs softly
"Make sure you do."
Som nods.
"Take your seat."
Som turns
All the eyes follows him
He scans the room -
Big was already calling for him dramatically from the middle row 3rd bench.
"Oi! Over here!"
A few students turn again.
Som exhales softly, a hint of a smile forming, and walks over.
Chang who was sitting beside Big leaving a seat between them shifts his bag slightly to make space.
Som drops into the seat.
Chang says calmly, "Looks like you made it in time today. Lucky you."
Big immediately leans in, "In time? He's late again -and getting worse."
Som smirks, "Umm... Guys, why don't we focus on studies right now."
Big scoffs quietly.
Chang: "Yeah, before he gets thrown out."
Som: "You two are very supportive."
Big grins: "Always."
The professor clears his throat
"Before we continue -"
The door opens.
A boy walks in, confidently without any hesitation.
The room shifts again.
Professor: "This is New. He'll be joining you guys from today onwards."
New scans the room briefly.
Big mutters (not quietly): "Another one."
Chang: "Try not to start something for five minutes."
Big: "No promises."
Som watches, amused.
Professor: "Take a seat."
New's eyes lands on them.
A brief pause.
Then he walks straight past -
And sits behind them.
Chair scraps lightly.
Big glances back immediately.
New meets his gaze without backing off.
New: "You talk a lot."
Big smirks: "you noticed already?"
Chang turns slightly: "Give it a day, you'll get used to it."
New: "I dought that."
Som lets out a quiet laugh.
The tension lingers - but not heavily. Just sharp.
Professor: "Settle down."
Class resumes.
Som leans back, relaxed.
