INTRODUCE
Hi! My name is Grayson. I am an eighteen-year-old boy studying in the twelfth grade. I was born and raised in New York.
My mother died when I was born, and I lost my father a few years ago due to a heart attack. Now I live with my elder brother and elder sister.
My brother's name is Mason. He is twenty-five years old and works in a company. My sister's name is Aella. She is twenty years old, studying in her second year of college, and also works part-time at a coffee shop.
We were not rich, but we had our own big house. Last year, our house caught fire in an accident and burned down. Since then, the three of us have been living in a rented house. Mason and Aella work hard to earn more money so that we can buy a new house one day.
I love them both very much. They are my family and my greatest support.
I have two best friends. One is Jayden. He is a hardworking student who always studies first in class. He has a kind and gentle personality and never fights with anyone. He is a good boy. Jayden is soft-hearted, but when needed, he can also be brave and strong.
My other best friend is Dylan. He is similar to Jayden in many ways. He loves reading books—especially storybooks rather than school textbooks. I think he has read more than a hundred books since he was a child. Even during class breaks, he is often seen reading.
Jayden and I argue a lot, but he is always the first one to come back and comfort me. There is one thing I hate more than anything else—dolls. I become angry whenever I see one.
After my father passed away, Mason and Aella took great care of me. They were never too strict and always tried to make me happy.
Many teachers like Jayden because he is hardworking. My classmates like Dylan because he is friendly. Mason works at a publishing company, so he often brings home books that cannot be sold. I enjoy reading those books.
Even though I have a loving family and wonderful friends, I still feel lonely sometimes. I don't know why, but that feeling never seems to leave me.
I thought my life would remain peaceful forever...
But I was wrong.
