Summary

In 1880, Postal Officer Jedidiah Crowley is forced to leave his peaceful home in Jórvik and take a new position in Coldstone—a northern town plagued by brutal weather, restless dead and rumours of a vampire living above it on Wolf’s Mountain. Jed soon discovers that his predecessor died while delivering letters to the castle’s mysterious master, Balec Armadas Mort. When black envelopes begin arriving and the dead demand that the mail be delivered, Jed must decide whether to obey the warnings of Coldstone—or fulfil his duty and climb the mountain himself. A gothic fantasy adventure filled with supernatural mystery, dark humour and an ordinary postman caught in a very extraordinary delivery.
