Everybody Has a Medical Degree
Being lean is peaceful...
Until society notices you.
Then suddenly...
Everyone becomes your personal nutritionist.
You walk into a family function.
Before you even sit down...
Someone says,
"Why are you so thin?"
Not "Hello."
Not "How are you?"
Straight to body analysis.
You smile politely.
Big mistake.
Now they think you're ready for a free health seminar.
"Are you eating properly?"
"Drink more milk."
"Eat bananas."
"Eat ghee."
"Eat this."
"Eat that."
By the end of the conversation...
You've received more diet plans than birthday wishes.
The funniest part?
Five different relatives.
Five different opinions.
One says,
"Eat more rice."
Another says,
"Don't eat rice."
One recommends dry fruits.
Another recommends homemade sweets.
At this point...
Even Google gets confused.
Then comes the legendary dialogue...
"The wind will carry you away."
Really?
If that were true,
I would've reached college without paying bus fare.
Shopping is another adventure.
You finally find a dress you love.
Salesperson smiles and says,
"Do you have a smaller size?"
You smile back...
"Do YOU?"
And every festival...
Someone will definitely say,
"You've become even thinner!"
How?
Did they compare me with last Diwali's version?
But here's the funniest part.
The same people who tell you to eat more...
Will also say,
"You're so lucky! You can eat anything."
Please choose one storyline.
Even the script is confused.
After hearing the same comments for the hundredth time...
You don't even react anymore.
You simply smile...
Take another snack...
And continue living your life.
Because one thing never changes...
Society always has an opinion.
Whether you're too lean...
Too tall...
Too short...
Or just existing peacefully.
