🌸CHAPTER ONE: Freaky Friday

Five friends walking down the hallway having an arguments and some deals.

"Yo Shelly you're gonna take the platt'er contract aren't you" said Miles.

"What you talk'in a'bout, of course not" said Shelimination.

"Why? It's not gonna be that bad, is it?" Sofia asked tossing hier hair backwards.

"Uh, I said no, no, no, am not" Shelimination said showing that was her final decision.

"Hey Freddy, Joe you guys ain gonna tell Shelly here that she should go for the platter" Miles said trying to convince Shelly in any way possible.

"Yeah, sure go" the twins chorused.

"Alright, alright i'll go, I surrender happy now" Shelly surrendered.

"Thank you" they all chorused in relieve, then want to their separate classes on hearing the after lunch well.

Shelimination was a sixteen years old girl in Aurelius High school Los-Angelos (LA). A tall pretty girl with  long purple hair and fair skin. Delicate eyes - blue eyes framed by naturally long lashes. Her enchanting smile shows off pink lips and beautiful body structure which made her loved by everyone.

Shelly was as rich as you can imagine and has the dream of becoming a famous singer. She was in her music class with Miles her best friend. Miles was also sixteen, he had white hair and had pink lips, muscular body, he was handsome and was a half-caste (both black & white American) so he wasn't so dark in complexion. Miles was a really good pianist, the best in the school actually. He won the yearly LAPC which is an acronym for Los-Angelos Pianist Championship, there times in a row.

Six years ago..

At Hollywood's park (L.A), children were playing all round the the park, running, shouting, singing and all other joyful scenes.

"What are you doing all by yourself behind the slide?" Little Miles asked a girl who was sitting under the slide.

"Huh, um, I don't wanna play leave me alone" she answered with her little voice.

"Oh okay me neither, i'll just sit here with you" he said sitting on the floor.

"No go! you have friends, lots of 'em, I know you, you're Miles aren't you?" she asked.

"I know right the white hair, anyways let's just say I want to sit here instead of playing with my other friends" Miles said as her face shone a bit red.

"What's you name by the way?" He asked.

"Shelimination Andrea" she answered.

"Ha ha sheli-what ha ha..." he laughed as  she got  up to leave but he held her back.

"Wait I'm sorry I didn't mean to laugh, but it's just so rare to hear such name, please sit" he pleaded.

"I know I shouldn't have told you my name everyone always laughs anytime I say it" she said settling back on the floor.

"You see who cares if they laughs, your name is your name, I wish I had such, it'll be cool" he said smiling at the sky.

"You think my name is cool?" Her eyes widened as she gave a broad smile.

"Uhuh, maybe I should be Milesilation" he said as they both laughed. And from then on Shelly and Miles became friends.

Back at the classroom;

"Yah girl! You're gonna go for the platt'er, you're gonna go for the platt'er..." Miles kept on singing.

"Miles you've been saying that for hours now, I know I'm gonna go it was my decision" Shelly pointed out.

"Yeah but if we didn't convince you to, you wouldn't have" Miles said feeling pumpus.

"Okay mum I've heard you" Shelly teased.

"Um, not to bother you but what's a plat-ter?" Asked another student who was eavesdropping to their conversation.

"Now what's your business four-eyes!" Miles altered rudely.

"Don't be like that Miles, it's called a platt'er it's slang for a runway show, which is when a designer release a new hit and invites celebs so they can patronise it" Shelly explained. "And he's pumped cause I'm gonna be the lead model" she said pointing Miles.

"Wow!" Steve exclaimed.

"Oh and Mariana Sandria is gonna be there, so yeah" Miles added.

"Miles! You don't have to tell him that" Shelly instantly whispers.

"Wow! Wow!" Steve exclaimed again, this time so excited that his classes almost fell off his nose.

"I'm also gonna be there" Miles winked making Shelly cover his mouth with her palm.

"Y'all I'm really jealous, Mariana the famous actress, why did I even ask what a platt'er was" he said feeling pity for himself.

"I don't really see her as a big deal" Shelly bragged.

"Who?" Steve asked.

"Hmmoo" Miles mumbled cause he still had he's mouth covered.

"Aunt Sandria" she answered.

"Wait did you just say 'aunt Sandria'?" Steve asked in shock.

"Yeah, she's not really related to me or anything but she and mom's been friends since high school or maybe best friends?" She explained.

"You've got to be kidding me" Steve said removing his glasses to see better.

"Hah! It's a sign that the real best friends are the ones from highschool" Miles said giving a weird smile.

"You're an idiot" they both chorused.

The music teacher entered the classroom but no one noticed him cause they didn't expect him to arrive after being about thirty minutes late.

"Class! Class! Class!" Mr. Sam shouted on top of his lungs before anyone was able to hear him. "Well now that you're all silent, morning students".

Morning Mr Samantha!" The class chorused.

"Sorry for being late I had something to deal with" he explained. "Before we begin lessons"

"Which you were supposed to about thirty minutes ago" said the principal as she entered the classroom.

"Mrs Pelinna great apologies, I had"

"Yes, yes I don't want to hear it cause I'm not here for you, I'm here for shelimination Andrea" she said cutting in Mr Sam's excuse.

"Yes ma'am!" Shelly answered.

"Report to my office immediately" said the principal heading back to her office.

"Excuse me" she said knocking on the door.

"Come in... have a seat"answered the principal. Shelly walked in, took a seat and the principal began to speak;

"Ms. Shelimination, I called you hear cause you're one of our best students, who has been maintaining the school rules and keeping the it's reputation but we the management has noticed your grades are dropping, at first I didn't want to call you in person but not until your last exam." She paused for Shelly to process the situation then continued. "Shelly, I and the school don't want to see you fail nor any other student, I just want you to be aware of what is happening...so whatever it is that is a means of distraction to your studies; please push it away and focus, you just have a year to be done with highschool." She paused for a bit then continued. "I don't want to say too much cause it's already closing hours, I just hope you heed to my advice, well, I think that's all" Mrs Pelinna said standing up from her seat and Shelly also followed. "You can leave now" as Shelly was about to leave; "Oh and Shelly, your mom's proud of how great your work in the school is, don't disappoint her" she added.

"Thank you Mrs Pelinna" Shelly said leaving the office.

As she came out; she took a deep breath and went on her way out of the school, she thought she heard someone call her name so she turned back; it was Sofia.

"Hey what's up" she asked as she was trying to catch her breath after running after Shelly, she pulled out her inhaler and inhaled it.

"You shouldn't be running after me Sofy, it's not"

"I'm fine see all good." Sofia cuts in putting her inhaler back in her pocket. Sofia didn't really like to be treated differently just because she was an asthmatic patient.

Sofia, a sixteen years old, a half Indian and American, her mother named Sikiru but changed her identity because of her love for her husband and now used another name.

Sofia like any Indian has long hair, brown to be precise, fair skin complexion, pink lips, she was indeed a pretty girl but not as pretty as Shelly though she never bragged about that. They were really good friends.

"Oh I'm sorry about that,“Shelly apologise.

"It's alright girl, what's the problem you don't look like the Shelly I know." Sofia asked noticing something wrong.

"Yeah, oh it's nothing" Shelly answered in a moody tune.

"Yah sure?“

"Uhmm, yeah," Shelly answered again but still Sofia could tell there was something wrong.

"Cheer up!" She said placing her arms on Shelly's shoulder from behind.

"Thanks Sofy, but I think I'll be heading home." Shelly said removing Sofia's arms from her shoulder.

Shelly went to the school gate and saw her driver in the car waiting. She entered the car;

"How was your day miss Andrea?" The driver asked adjusting his glasses. He was an old man, with a bit of a rinkled skin and grey hair, he had on a black tail coat suit with a bow-tie and a white hand gloves.

"My day was fine Walter." she answered.

Walter knowing Shelly too well and being the family butler for as long as he could remember. Ever since he met Mr Andrea, Shelly's grandfather, he was seventeen years old when he encountered Mr Andrea in a local town in Mexico.

★ ★ ★

Seventeen years old Walter was caught trying to steal  Andrea's car and brought to him;

"Was it true?" Asked Mr Andrea, with his deep voice and hefty body. "About my car did you try to steal it and fail?" He asked again laughing. Walter wondered what was funny.

"Don't ya hear'in a'ight" a man with an old woman's voice yelled, "hey the boss talk'in to ya!" He added.

"That's enough Robo!" Said Mr Andrea.

Walter at this point was baffled and surprised that the man didn't just have a weird voice but a weird name too. "Robo..." He unconsciously said out loud from he's thoughts.

"Eh? Did you just repeat what wa'boss just said?!" Robo yelled at Walter.

"What's your name kid?" The boss asked.

"W—Walter." he stuttered.

"Walter huh, you almost stole my car and usually I would want you punished by my men for that, but I've decided something else as your punishment" he paused then continued wanting to see Walter's reaction. "Come work for me, and whatever was your reason for stealing my car I'll help you resolve it," Mr Andrea suggested.

Walter at this moment felt like it was a dream, he needed the money from the car for his mother's treatment, he felt like shedding tears. He then knelt down and said;

"I'm so sorry, I tried to steal your car, I don't know what I was thinking, please forgive me *señor (*Spanish for minister), please, please—".

"I already offered you a job doesn't it mean I forgive you," he cunningly replied.

After that, Walter then worked for Mr Andrea which made them become friends, Walter became the Andrea's family bulter through that.

Walter knew that Shelly was not telling the truth when she said school was fine so he asked her, "so, um, what happened today?"

"Not much, I guess." Shelly answered looking outside the window avoiding the conversation to go on.

"Well you not looking so we'll, you sick?"He asked out of curiosity.

"Nah just tried," she answered.

There was silence until they reached home.
