Chapter 1
In Sub-Saharan Africa birth was given to a new generation of cape Buffalo that if survived would make a new generation and carry on the genes of the Buffalo. Out came a particular Buffalo tikisha, she had very big bold eyes and a almost zig-zag spot on her side and stomach along side her were 6 other calves that surprising were born at the same time. Around and around she went enjoying this life she now has been given but it was cut short, her mother pawing and snorting at something in the distance; A lion!! , the calve unaware just leaps back behind her mother yet can tell something was unsettling out there for even the whole herd came together that only then tikisha finally saw as it raw away a bright yellow furry creature running off from the bushes. It might be her first day alive but she is no fool to know that the threat has ran away.
