The Drive

Ethan was making a turn down the gravel road. He didn’t want to be doing this but he had been outvoted.
“This is bullshit.”
“And here he goes” Sarah who was in the passenger seat rolled her eyes. “Ethan, you lost fair and square. Two against one—you know the rules.”
“It’s not right” Ethan argued. “You’re a girl and Julian’s gay. So you both just band against me.”
Julian, in the back, squinted. “Ethan, you’re the only one of us that likes going to that resort during the summer. But it’s always loud and this might be our last summer together.”
“Yeah” Sarah nodded. “And my parents spend a good chunk of money for us to stay at this lake house for the whole summer and that’s way better than some resort.”
“Not really” Ethan groaned. “Because nobody else will be out here—so I’m not going to be able to get any pussy.”
Sarah scoffed at that. “You’re a pig.”
“I feel like I’m being forced to do this shit” Ethan groaned.
“We never liked going to the resort” Sarah told him. “But we still went for you—so I think you can handle one summer where you don’t get your way.”
But Ethan didn’t think he could. “I get blueballs pretty bad…”
“You’re an idiot” Sarah shook her head and looked out the window.
Ethan knew there was no way out of going. As he could see the lake house coming into view—he knew there was no turning back now.
“Oh my god” Julian looked out the window and grinned. “Look at this place.”
“I know” Sarah grinned. “My parents really outdid themselves—it’s the perfect graduation gift.”
“A sexless summer is perfect to you?” Ethan asked, annoyed.
“Just shut the fuck up and park the car” Sarah snapped.
Ethan put the car in park and groaned as he got out. He didn’t want to be there—there was nothing. They would be in the woods, in the middle of nowhere for two long months and he didn’t know how he was going to survive it.
