An Angel's Hope

Before time had a name, before stars burned across the endless sky, there was only God.

The earth was formless and empty. Darkness stretched across the deep, while the Spirit of God moved gently over the waters. Then God spoke the first words ever heard.

"Let there be light."

And there was light.

The darkness retreated before His voice as creation awakened. From that first light came the blazing sun to rule the day and the silver moon to watch over the night. Stars scattered across the heavens like countless diamonds, each one carefully placed by God's own hand.

Oceans surged into existence. Mountains rose toward the heavens. Rivers carved their paths through stone, forests spread across the land, and every flower, tree, and creature bloomed according to God's perfect design. Life flourished in harmony, untouched by suffering, fear, or death.

But long before humanity walked the earth...

There were the angels.

Beings of radiant light, each created with a unique purpose, personality, and gift. Some carried God's messages, others protected His creation, while countless more filled Heaven with songs of praise.

Beside God stood Celestia, His beloved wife and eternal companion. Together they shaped Heaven into a kingdom unlike any other, creating countless orders of angels to serve throughout creation.

Together they helped grow heaven with different rankings of angels, and among them were their own children, The Archangels. They were made not to serve, worship, or carry out God’s will but to be children God and Celestia can call their own.

There was Michael, the fearless leader and Angel of Justice and Courage.

Raphael, the Messenger of Healing, Guardian of the Suffering, and Watcher of the Wounded.

Uriel, the wise guide whose light revealed truth to those who sought it.

Gabriel, the Messenger of Purity and Divine Guidance.

Azrael, the Angel of Death, whose duty was to gently guide souls into eternity.

Jegudiel, supporting hard-working leaders and encouraging people to do their best.

Selaphiel, Angel of Prayer, and is the one who inspires, teaches, and supports prayer, helping believers focus their petitions with humility.

Remiel, the Angel of Hope, whose light remained even in humanity's darkest moments.

And finally, Raguel, the Enforcer of Heaven's Law, whose unwavering sense of justice kept order throughout the heavenly kingdom.

Below them were The Seraphims, made to worship God’s orders. Day and night they surrounded God's throne, proclaiming His holiness while serving as instruments of divine purification and revelation.

Yet Heaven's family did not end there.

God also created two siblings of His own.

The first was Nebula, gifted with the same incredible power of creation as her brother.

The second was Castor, master of the stars, planets, and celestial skies, whose gifts closely resembled those of Celestia herself.

Together, God, Celestia, Nebula, and Castor became known as The Astrals.

They were the highest-ranking beings in all of existence.

The Creators.

The Kings and Queens of Creation itself.

But among them all stood one above all other lower angels.

Veylora.

The Firstborn.

God's most beautiful creation.

Her wings shimmered like liquid gold beneath Heaven's light, and wherever she walked, angels stopped to stare in awe. Eventually, she began to adore herself even more. But God warned her countless times.

“True beauty does not come from admiration; it comes from the heart."

But Veylora stopped listening to him long ago.

But as time moved on, Nebula started to become jealous of her brother for being stuck in his shadow. Celestia tried to reason with her, but it was too late and God and Nebula made herself have powers of destruction along with her creation powers. They both fought to the death, causing the universe to shake, including heaven.

In the end, Nebula was defeated, yet God could not bring himself to destroy His own sister.

Instead, he created a prison unlike any other.

The Goddess Prison.

There she would remain in an eternal sleep, sealed away beyond time until the end of creation.

Castor watched it all unfold.

For a moment, bitterness filled his own heart.

Then he looked toward Earth.

Humanity was born

God has created Adam and Eve, the first of mankind, created not to serve Heaven, but to live beside one another in love and peace. God cherished them deeply, and that alone filled Veylora with a bitterness she had never known before. Castor had a plan to mess with Veylora’s mind.

The hatred consumed her slowly at first... then all at once. So, she descended to Earth, and beneath the shade of Eden's trees, she whispered temptation into mortal ears and guided Adam and Eve toward the Tree of Knowledge and ate the fruit from the tree. But this act came with a curse.

The moment their teeth pierced the fruit, sin entered creation, evil has found its way into earth and God's original plan for peace and harmony was shattered.

Hell gained its queen that day and creation would never recover from her fall.

For their disobedience, Adam and Eve were banished from the garden forever. And Veylora, realizing the horror of what she had done, abandoned Heaven willingly and descended into the burning depths below now known as Hell.

When God found out what Castor had done, he was furious. Veylora didn’t even know about his existence. Instead of sending him to The Goddess Prison, he sent him somewhere darker and deeper, The Void. A place of eternal darkness, where God and Celestia first met, now knows a place of nothing at all.

During the same time of Veylora's fall God created another realm to keep balance in the universe.

The Realm of Pure Darkness.

This is home of The Darkborn and the embodiments of darkness and shadows. There isn't much known about this realm, not even heaven itself knows much, but it's a peaceful realm and one of Heaven's alleys. God made The Dark Ascendants and centuries later, They had a son named Nocten, The Prince of Darkness.

God also gave them two special royal pets. A griffin named Barlo, and a Raven named Prugna. They were gifted as guardians to members of The Royal Family, and take charge whenever nobody is in the castle.

One day Veylora figured out about this realm and when The Dark Ascendance refused to help Veylora go to war with heaven, she was furious.

Nocten’s mother left without a trace, and his Father was killed by Veylora. But Nocten crowned himself The Emperor of The Shadow Realm and made sure to check in on heaven about any dangers from the realm.

Centuries passed and Humanity grew more violent with each generation, and Heaven watched helplessly as darkness tightened its grip on Earth. Wars consumed nations. Innocence vanished. Evil evolved.

So Heaven adapted and one angel stepped before God and offered a solution.

Warriors and protectors chosen to defend creation itself. But The Archangels and Seraphims disagreed knowing they were the highest ranked among God, but he explained that these would go down to protect creation down on earth and other realms, while The Archangels are protectors and messengers of Heaven, and soon they all agreed.

And thus, The Royals of Virtue were born.

Angels bound to sacred spirit animals, gifted powers beyond imagination and tasked with protecting Earth from the growing darkness below.

There was Prince Claw, The Prince of Protection, Prince Apollo, The Prince of Space and Time, Prince Noah, Prince of Light, and Princess Jessie, Princess of Love.

He also made The Guardian Angels, made to protect individual souls during difficult times or in great danger.

There was Mateo, the Snarky Leader, Mia, Mateo’s right hand, Violet, the gentle one, and Amber, the protective one.

And somehow...

I became one of the royals.

My name is Princess Gabriella, though most people just call me Gabbie, or The Gabinator.

I was once an ordinary girl with a poor lifestyle. Malaria was spreading all around my kingdom, and my dad died from the disease. Meanwhile me and my mother were working for the nobles during that time, beaten and ruthlessly and worked until our hands broke.

Soon I passed away too and my mother was there all alone. Once I woke up in heaven I panicked, worrying about my mom being down there all alone. But soon I met Archangel Raphel, Messenger of Healing, Guardian of the Suffering, and Watcher of the Wounded.

I asked him where I was and he told me I was in Heaven, and he took me to The Almighty Father himself, along with Celestia. He told me it was not my fault for suffering as a child. He explained before I was forced to work that I tried to spread peace and positivity around my people, and apparently it was enough for me to become a princess.

However, this was only the beginning of my journey. One day I set foot on earth for a special assignment. It was a lot different from heaven, and certainly when I was human, it looked peaceful even. But I immediately remembered that I couldn't be seen, so I had to put on a human disguise. But I didn't really find much on earth; I was afraid that it might've been deserted or something.

I was sent to find a Guardian Angel who has been missing for years and sent me down to try and find him, but I just saw little to nothing.

That wasn't until I walked to a beach for the view, I was about to send a message but then I thought to myself, why not enjoy the alone time until I saw someone standing a pretty decent view of me. I decided to walk up to him and introduce myself. I was a little shy, but I managed.

"Hey- uh sir" I said, "Oh hey, are you new around here" he told me "Yeah, sorry if that's weird" I replied "It's cool, everyone is always welcome" he told me

"Oh okay thanks, I'm Gabbie"

"Oh okay, I'm Tyler"

"That's hot" I said but I snapped immediately "I mean- today is very hot!". Tyler chuckled and said "I just met you so I have to tell you something important. Let's get to the pond, nobody goes there"

I was skeptical, but I just went along with it and followed him. Once we got there I tried to act more "human" if you will until he told me "I know what you are Gabbie" I immediately tried not to know what he was talking about but he said "I'm not what you think I am" and turned into an angel right in front of my face.

"You're- you're an angel" I stuttered

"Yes I am, and I know you are one too"

"Fine you caught me, but how did you know?"

"I can sense Angelic and Demonic energy, and just like you princess I had the dream to help humanity so I became this. That’s why I’ve been gone for years" he said while bowing in respect "How did you know what I was about to ask?” I asked “I’ve gotten that a lot in heaven” Tyler replied

“Wow, I didn’t know that” I said “Of course you would say that, you’re too new around here”

“Listen Tyler, come with me, we can work together”

"Excellent, now let's go see the others" Tyler told me as we transformed in our human forms and Tyler told me he had a bunch of friends but I'm scared if I act like a royal snob but he just told me to be myself and I would be fine.

Once we got to the house Tyler turned back into an angel but I just stayed myself and everyone else walked out. There was Alexis, Abbie, Alexis’ girlfriend, Madi, Crazy and Hazel.

"Everyone, this is Gabbie" he introduced "Who is she, your new girlfriend?" said Abbie "For your information she's a princess! Straight from the heavens!" said Tyler just like that and I decided to screw it and reveal myself. "You guys don't have to bow" I said right away

"I'm not one to complain, but I respect you," said Alexis. I smiled slightly and Tyler said "I think we're gonna get along just fine" and they let me inside.

I'll admit I've never been in an actual house until now, I was used to a dirty hut thousands of years ago. Everyone was friendly, kind and well stupid at times, but everyone was a bunch of fun. Even though my journey just began and off to a good start, I still had to keep my guard up at all times, you never know what kinds of danger can be found up on earth.

I made sure those words stuck in my brain no matter what, but after about a few months I started to feel a little funny, but I did think much of it, either way I wasn't gonna let Father down!

"We have several questions!" Said Maddie "Who are you? What powers do you have? How old are you? Have you ever been in danger? Cursed? Kidnapped on enslaved?" said Hazel

"WOAH WOAH WOAH! HOLD IT!" I yelled "Have a seat guys, all your questions will be answered" I said

I didn't say much about Anthony or how I found my parents, but everyone was so nice and understanding for me being another angel. That night I walked outside for some quiet and then Tyler came back.

"So, you are the newest princess from all the royals" he said

"Yeah, it has been a wild ride, but I'm still hanging" I said

"Good to know, I'm pretty sure God sent you to find me," said Tyler

"Yes, he did, but now I revealed myself to mortals, is that a problem?" I asked

"Look, I have been in heaven longer than you, and he said you can reveal your true form to people you absolutely trust! That's one main rule for a role like this, I'm sure God would have told you by now!" said Tyler.

We sat there in silence for a while, but when I started walking away, after all I have been through, I need some peace myself. I was so lucky to be with a group of amazing people, we need more people like this, funny, kind and sweet. I shall continue my journey no matter what, because after all this isn't just luck or a title, this is An Angel's Hope.
