A New Start

Monali was the mother of three daughters — Ramya, Maria and Riya. She was a hardworking woman who worked for a top AI company and had always wanted to give her daughters a good future.

After the divorce, Monali was devastated and worried about how she would manage her three children alone. She talked to her supervisor about her situation. Her supervisor advised her to apply for work from home and move from Mumbai to a cheaper place.

Following her supervisor’s advice, Monali applied for work from home. When it came to shifting, she chose Gaya, Bihar, hoping that this would be a fresh start for her family.

Meanwhile, Ramya, Maria and Riya started having arguments like normal siblings. But one day, during an argument, Ramya and Maria said to Riya,

“We both have talent, but what talent do you have?”

Their argument was overheard by Monali. She thought about Riya and wondered how such an intelligent child could possibly be without a talent.

After thinking about it, Monali gave Riya a diary with a personal lock. She told her to write about everything and study her own thoughts so that she could understand herself better and perhaps discover her talent.

Monali gave diaries to Ramya and Maria as well, so that they could understand themselves better.

And perhaps, this was the beginning of something none of them had expected.
