Deewangi symphony of love and devotion

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

Deewangi is a little journey back to the era of old-school romance, the kind filled with innocent love, family warmth, cute banter, nok-jhok, and feelings that didn't need a hundred words to be understood. A story that carries the charm of the 90s romantic rom-coms, where love felt softer, families felt closer, and every little moment had its own magic. Especially for those who grew up loving the warmth and romance of Rajshri films-this one is for you. ❤️ So, if you miss that old-world love, playful banter, family chaos, and the sweetness of a romance that takes its time... Give Deewangi a chance. Maybe it will take you back to an era you never wanted to leave.

Chapter 1

Lead Characters

Dhruv Singh Oberoi (27)

The eldest son of Mahesh and Shobha Oberoi, calm, responsible, and quite shy, with a heart of gold. He went to London at 19 for higher studies and is now returning after eight years as the Managing Director (MD) of the Oberoi Group. Always a dedicated student and intensely ambitious about his career, romance or dating has never even crossed his mind.

Isha Kapoor (22)

The youngest daughter of Harsh and Yashoda Kapoor. An extrovert at heart, she is little unpredictable, a little messy, and completely herself. At 15, she moved into Oberoi Sadan to train at a top Mumbai dance academy, where living around Dhruv's memories made her fall secretly in love with him. Now 22, she has graduated to become a lead soloist performer at the academy, running her own classical dance workshops while preparing for her national stage debut.

Note on Isha's backstory: Mahesh Oberoi insisted to his best friend Harsh that Isha stay at Oberoi Sadan when she moved to Mumbai at 15. A year ago, her parents permanently relocated to Mumbai, so she shifted back with them.

Arjun Singh Oberoi (26)

Dhruv's younger cousin brother and the son of Naman and Manisha Oberoi. An introvert by nature, he is distant, reserved, and fiercely guarded with his heart, secretly hiding a storm beneath his calm exterior. An art entrepreneur who refused to join the family business, he built his own company, Sky Aura Art, as its Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO), expanding it into multi-million dollar global art and design deals.

Tanvi Kapoor (25)

The eldest daughter of Harsh and Yashoda Kapoor, bold, outspoken, and fiercely independent. She left for France at 17 to pursue her passion for fine arts. Returning home to India after eight years, Tanvi has no filter when it comes to speaking her mind, yet carries a heart of pure kindness. She is clumsy and chaotic in her own unique way, yet remarkably mature and deeply grounded.

Vikram Singh Oberoi (24)

The younger son of Mahesh and Shobha Oberoi, an extrovert who is dramatic and full of life. He moved to London at 16 alongside Dhruv to attend film school. Now returning back to his hometown, Mumbai, with Dhruv, he is gearing up for his big Bollywood debut as the lead actor in an upcoming film.

Vriti Kapoor (24)

The middle daughter of Harsh and Yashoda Kapoor, mature, serious, and carrying a stubborn attitude. While the world sees her as a Kapoor heir handling the family business alongside her father, she secretly lives a double life as "Heer," a bestselling romance author. Refusing to step into the spotlight, she guards her private life fiercely.
