Summary

The Girl Who Lived In Light is a dark post-apocalyptic zombie story about survival, fear, found family, and the cost of protecting someone in a world that has forgotten how to be gentle. Brick knows better than to expect anything good beyond the settlement walls. But during a salvage run through the ruins, he finds Tessa: a starving girl locked inside an abandoned medical facility, curled in a strip of sunlight and somehow still alive. No one knows who she is, how long she has been there, or why the sunlight seems to matter so much. Brick only knows she needs help. But the settlement is not built on trust. As questions grow and the Diseased beyond the walls begin acting strangely, Tessa becomes something people fear almost as much as the monsters outside. And Brick must decide what it really means to protect someone in a world where survival has made mercy dangerous.
