Map + Info

The coastal country of Iylose covered a 647,797 km² area of land that was lush with natural resources and to its south east border was the Arlingterre Ocean, filled with even more natural resources. To the north east the mountain range was the natural border between Iylose and the Ylamross Holy Empire and to the northwest was the border to the country of Gria. Lastly on the southwest border of Iylose was the mysterious, untamed and dangerous magic territory called ‘The Blackwoods’ and another natural barrier from the Holy Empire.

The Holy Empire and Iylose have an uneasy relationship due to Iylose being called the ‘Country for Witches’ and Holy Empire labeling witches in the past as evil creatures made from depths of the underworld. While they have been publicly backing up this message about witches and there have been quiet whispers that the Holy Empire prodded Gria to go to war with Iylose hundred and ten years ago.

The war was called ‘Rewood War’ as Gria started its attack in the Rewood area and failed to invade. They couldn’t get a proper foothold in Iylose for five years due to a combination of lack of resources, Gria’s incompetent military leadership, and finally Iylose witches joining the fight.

In the tenth year Gria Royalty had to sue for peace as its civilians started to speak about revolution and Gria Royalty wished to stop it before the talks became a bloody revolution, which happened year later anyways. Gria paid Iylose large amounts of gold for all the lives lost or ruined by the war and life in Iylose slowly returned to some normalcy over the next twenty years.

On the twenty anniversary Holy Empire claimed holy war with Iylose and its satellite control nations. The Empire tried to pull other nations to attack Iylose but they either refused to join the Empire or had strong ties with Iylose.

The Empire’s War couldn’t get a foothold in Iylose due to the mountains blocked and trying to cut through The Blackwoods’ but the magic within the woods made them back on their own lands or worse lost in the woods forever. After six years of fruitless war the Empire crumbled, while Iylose didn’t truly lift a finger in the war and The Holy Empire became the country of Ylamross.

Kritta_820: I enjoyed the storyline immensely and felt that it devolved from the average "small puny female wolf finds a royal mate." Sometimes the jumps between scenes and plots jumped ahead a little too far for my taste. For example when MC heard the update about her first mate the book suddenly changed to th...

Silver's Second Chance

Maggie Varnum: Like that it was fast paced and suspenseful...loved the romance up ended a little to fast ...would have been better if there was a Luna ceremony chapter and a birth of son with name chapter with Cole as a dramatic dad in the delivery scene .... Overall I enjoyed it very much!

hazel_walker: Okay, this chapter was WILD 😭 The whole werewolf system, the FBIDWC, the discrimination, and the fact that Sylvia has been keeping Collin and Dylan’s situation a secret all came together so well. I especially loved the school chaos and Sylvia immediately going into protective-mom mode. And that end...
