Summary

One of these days, I’m going to remember that beds need to be made without my wife reminding me. But as we ride back to her home in Alinar, I’m eager to learn. The last thing I want is to prove to her father that I really am the most useless person who ever lived. Am I nervous to meet the rest of her family? Yes. Yes, I am. But Em needs me to be strong, so I’m going to do my best to be strong for her. I have a wife counting on me now. I won’t let her down. Even if I still have a lot to learn about surviving in her world. Whatever we face in the coming days, though, I know we’ll be all right. We can survive anything as long as we face it together.
