Mark Lewis
Mark Lewis was a 36 year old cowboy, father of Lisa, and ex-husband of Maria Lewis. He stayed around Texas long enough for Maria to have Lisa and then vanished when Lisa turned one.
Maria thought about Mark daily as she watched Lisa grow into a beautiful young lady. Wondering why he wasn't there with them, and where he could possibly be.
Mark was living in Oklahoma, with his brand new wife, Sonia. He often thought about Lisa, and how she turned out. He celebrated her birthday every year by buying a cupcake, putting a candle in it, and making a wish. He would never eat the cupcake himself, but would explain why he celebrated that way every year. Sonia longed to have a child for him so he could have a real birthday party, with a real child.
