✨ The Beginning ✨
Hello my name is Evelyn and I'm a young girl that feels like this is a story I wanna share for all you people to know that life is not over when it might feel like it.
Everything started years ago when a loving couple from a very small village decided they wanted to make a family, so nine months later I was born in a hospital 11 miles away and I was assigned to be named Evelyn Winter for at least 18 years until I'm old enough to legally change it if I wanted to.
We started out as a happy normal family for a few years like everyone else was until one day when I saw one of the hardest things I had to go trough as a child and that was my mom and dad having really bad fights that would end up in my mom and me staying at my grandma or my moms friend for weeks. We basically waited it out until my dad would come up to my mom and apologise. This happened more often than you would think , everything happened over and over again on repeat for like two years.
One day my mom had enough and decided to move to another state with me and leave my father behind. We had just gotten to the new city and started to pack up and I moved to my new pink room.
It was my first day at school today and everyone here seems really nice but I still miss my old friends. Everything seems great a few months but then when I came home from school one day I heard my mom yelling to someone on her phone , it was my dad of course but I couldn't understand what they were saying but later on when my mom hanged up on him she showed me her positive pregnancy test but I still didn't understand what that meant so she told me that I will be having a baby brother or sister in a few months.
Some hours later I found my mom crying on the bed and I asked why she was so sad and she told me that my dad refused to be in her baby's life and my life because my mom decided to leave him but I didn't understand why my dad would just leave me and didn't wanna be a part of my life anymore so I started crying beside my mom and we sat there for like an hour but my mom stopped crying really fast like she just pulled the plug or something but I couldn't resist my dad left me and didn't want me like I did something to him. I never told mom that I was trying to figuring out why dad left me because I know that mom would say that it wasn't because of me but I know that he wouldn't leave me unless I did something really bad , maybe it was when I refused to eat my vegetables or when I was late to bed I really don't know a good reason why he would do that.
✨ A few months later ✨
Mom's belly is getting really huge and I don't really care about dad anymore. I heard that you don't have to have both mom and dad in your life to get a good life and why would I wanna have him in my life when he doesn't want me ? Well that's a good question so I just dropped it and started to think to myself if I thought my sibling would be a girl or a boy. I've always wanted a baby sister but it doesn't really matter what I'll get because I'll always love it.
One day my mom seemed really stressed out in the morning and was on the phone all day , I didn't even have a chance to say goodbye before I was gonna head out for school but it is what it is , it was probably a really important phone call or something, it wasn't really something I was thinking of but it came to my mind later that day when my mom decided to take me home from school in the middle of my math class and she didn't say why.
When we came home there were boxes everywhere and the couch was gone just as the time we were moving so I understood that we were moving again but why so soon , we just got here. I just started to make friends and I didn't even have the chance to say goodbye , why would mom do this to me ? We have already gone through a lot.
✨ A few hours later ✨
We have finally arrived at our new apartment. I think it's a lot bigger than the one before but I think that's because I'm gonna have a sibling. It felt like we were driving like 100 hours away from our last home but actually it was only 5 hours, whatever it still felt the same. This state was really big. It was like Hollywood. I've never seen such a big city before but I will have to get used to it because I think we will stay here for at least a while.
I was a month into my new school when my teacher got a call about my mom being in active labor so a friend of my mom that lived a mile away came and picked me up and we headed to hospital. We sat in the restaurant while mom delivered her child because it took hours before she even started to push. It turned out I now have a baby brother named Milo and he was so cute and adorable.
My mom and I stayed in the hospital for a night before we could go home , my mom wanted to walk a bit before we got home and I couldn't resist to laugh because she walked so weird but I understand that u do that after u push out a watermelon sized kid out of your *****. Well I maybe shouldn't have told u so much but it took her 12 hours to deliver him so he should at least be grateful for the rest of his life.
