About Jayden Cliffe

A few things about me: Writing has been my passion since childhood. My mother used to say I had a gift for it, as if there were magic in my ink. At nine, I tried writing my first novel. It lasted eight pages before the plot lost its way!

My mind never switches off. Give me a subject and I can turn it into a long essay on the spot—I think and write at the same time.

These are my original stories, built around my ideas and characters. Many draw on my life, with details changed and fictional scenes added. I’ve visited the UK and France, and those experiences sometimes inspire my writing.

English is my second language, so I use AI mostly for translation and proofreading. Sometimes I ask it to help write a story I’ve imagined, from beginning to end. I review and revise everything it writes.

I’m married and have one child. When inspiration strikes, I capture my ideas by voice and work on them later.

I won’t pretend I don’t hope to earn money from writing. Who wouldn’t want to make a living doing something they love and give their family a better life?
