"Elle has done it again. My heart and mind have been captured and transported into a whole new world! It's quite easy to relate to Raina and her life at first, and then suddenly we enter a whole new, magical world where life is very different. I also appreciate the little nods and references hidden between the lines. 😉 The characters (both created by Elle and those that already exist in certain worlds) are interesting, unique, and leave you wanting more. The storyline has evolved into another stunning work of art, with vivid imagery, emotionally-relatable situations, and introduces the burning question of, "What will happen next??" Bravo, Elle. I look forward to reading what happens next! "
A wonderfully likeable fmc and a love interest who raises the bar
"I will start by saying that I am NOT a reader of romance, but once in a while, a story comes along that I must make an exception for. THIS is one of them. Raina is one of the most amusing first-person main characters I have ever had teh pleasure of reading about. Her reactions and comments are always a pleasure, and her outlook as she comes to realize what she has gotten herself into is both compelling and wonderfully entertaining. Our leading man, Calimos, is a dream come true. Everything a woman could want and more, and although he's larger than life in a lot of ways, he somehow manages to ground himself enough not come off as imposing. All in all, a wonderful read, and I find myself looking forward to each update. Definitely worth your time! The only feedback I really have is I would like to see more of Calimos realm, but that is only my curious nature at play. "
