"I’m a fussy reader, and I usually don’t continue a book if the writing is too telling, overly loaded with descriptions, or relies heavily on forced intimacy. But the writer’s style in this book is so good that it genuinely made me want to keep reading. One thing I particularly love is how the author shows more than tells. The emotions come through the characters’ actions, reactions, expressions, and conversations instead of simply being explained to the reader. The dialogues also feel very natural and never come across as sloppy or forced. Another thing that really impressed me is how distinct every character’s voice feels. It doesn’t feel like the main character is talking to themselves through every conversation. Each character has their own personality, way of speaking, and tone, and even the side characters have voices that feel different from one another. That makes the whole story feel much more alive and realistic. The plot is great, and the story hooks you from the very beginning and holds your interest throughout. I haven’t finished the book yet, but I definitely intend to complete it soon. I must say, this is the first book on this app that has managed to hold my interest this much. I would absolutely love to read more books from this author. And please, I’m hoping for a happy ending! I really want Asher and Ivy to end up together, and please—no one die! 😂❤️ Thank you, Author, for such a thrilling and captivating book. It has been such an unexpected gem!"
