"I enjoyed the book. Just felt it could have used just a little of the backstory they hint to throughout. The connection between the 2 main characters feels like something is missing because they seem to be skirting around something the reader doesn’t know. The male lead is very intense (almost too much for me) without really understanding why until you’re 3/4 through. Overall still a good read."
