"J’ai adoré. La partie 2 fait honneur à la partie 1 et en même temps y’avait pas de doute dans le sens où on est jamais déçues des histoires de ces auteurs. Le script coule de lui même et c’est pas trop long dans la narration on se perd pas en descriptif inutile. Tout coule de source. J’ai pas envie de spoiler en parlant des personnages mais je suis vraiment pas déçu d’avoir commencé à lire malgré que je sois pas fan des triangles amoureux. Allez y les yeux fermés. Franchement ça pourrait carrément être adapté en film ou série tellement on rentre dedans facilement et on imagine tellement les scènes avec les répliques et le mimiques des personnages ❤️"

"I loved this so, so, so much. And thanks to this story, I’ve officially discovered a new author whose books I’ll definitely be checking out. Really good job, Ember. Compared to Part One, this one gave us so many more sweet, wholesome moments between Carter and Lykos, and I ate up every single one of them. I absolutely adore these two together. They’re ridiculously cute, but then they turn around and give us spice that’s just chef’s kiss. Seriously, the RANGE. And my man Lykos. I love him to pieces. Yes, he’s completely unhinged, but underneath all that craziness, he has this unexpectedly soft side that gets me every time. Seeing the way he is with Carter and especially with his nephews just made me love him even more. I’m sorry, but that man has my whole heart at this point. I flew through Part Two just as fast as I did the first one and had such a good time reading it. I love Carter and Lykos so much, and I’m not ready to say goodbye to them yet. Absolutely loved this part, and now I’m heading straight into Part Three because I desperately need to see how their story ends."

Red Velvet - Part 2: Predator (extraordinary plots and a dreamlike relationship)
"Oh My Goooood! 👏🏻 The action in this one left me stunned, and it totally blew my mind! I can't get over how amazing the plot is. I don't want to give too many spoilers, but: a sensitive heartbreak that felt like a stab to the heart, followed by bad decisions on one side, an escalating romance that feels just perfect (sweet behaviour blended with savoury spice and the rooting feeling that they'll be everlasting), a hunt that keeps us on the edge of our seats. Wow! It made me think more about how Lykos and Kade care for Carter, each in his own way. The ending is an amazing foreplay for the great action and suspense that are yet to come! 🤩 "You're mine, and the plan is to show you what that means. Imprint myself on every inch of you in the way you're already inked across my soul." 🫠🫠🫠 There is much of such erotic poetry in this series, words and thoughts that stick in the mind and wrap around the heart with endless comfort, but I highly refuse to let this one slip from my mind, especially since it comes right from the first chapter of the second part. We could agree that we got excited from Kade's previous dominance and naughty behaviour, including the jacuzzi and the handcuffs (which I needed to read again to prolong my daydreams with it), not to mention that he dealt with Layla for Carter's sake. I also adore that he's drawn by her because of her writings, even memorising some of them, so he likes her for both her mind and her body, BUT Lykos's obssession is just... 🫠🔥 The way he pays attention to everything about her, being the dangerous one to anybody but his woman (and his family), with the way she's so confortable around him after she met the Wolf, creates something definitely hard to beat. Getting Carter to meet the wolf so soon in the book, and catching a glimpse of their taste and how he plans to worship her (and then DOING IT SO BEAUTIFULLY), was an excellent idea! 👏🏻✨️ I can't get over how addictive this relationship is, from all of the romantic aspects (heart-squeezing sweet, sexy, protective, and everything related to it: the endless laughter, cooking agreements, family interactions, communication, playful teasing, comforting proximity, mutual adoration, dynamic at work and at home). Every word through these pages fits perfectly. 🥰🥰🥰 I really hope these brilliant authors won't mind that I highlight here some of my favoured lines on immediate display, but I honestly find them way too good to keep them only hidden in my notes and through chapters. "I want all of her - her mind, heart and soul, not just her stunning body. And I intend to prove that." (restraining his desires at their first date) "She turns to me, face lit up in a smile that could light the darkest corners of the world." "It's gonna be your last name too one day, you might want to remember it." (while she teases him with mispronounced names) "There is nothing as beautiful in this world as her, nothing so precious, wearing a smile that just melts away all your troubles." "I'm so entranced by her, it's borderline problematic." "She'll be the death of me, and I'll die the happiest man on this planet." "Perhaps it took me a decade or so to find Carter, but she was worth every second of waiting, and I wouldn't have it any other way." "There's just something easy and natural speaking to my family with Carter at my side." To fellow readers, mark my words: THIS SERIES IS WAY TOO GOOD TO MISS OUT! I really hope that many people will enjoy it as much as I do. Great job made by each of the three outstanding authors: Vivienne, Ember, Nicole! 'Til the third part is finished, I'll definitely add more of their books to my immediate TBR list. 📚✨️ "
