A really novel plot idea with some flaws
"This story has a unique take on the shifter world. It is fairly quick moving and holds your interest but has some pretty glaring continuity issues which are distracting. I also did not care for the male lead’s complete refusal to acknowledge any emotional feelings for his mate. He always referred to her as a clinical necessity. I didn’t enjoy that and thought the female character should have challenged him on it. "

"So, this was different in a good way. The male character was cold calculating and one could say even more beast than human in his way of talking/possessing. The female started as a stubborn person but ended up even more stubborn but also a stronger person. The dynamic is interesting and works. Downsides is that there are some hiccups in the story/plot. Some people are introduced as one thing but later on it is changed. Like Rhys, he was introduced as a beta but suddenly he is a rival Alpha. Also there is a lack of explanation for several things, like the term Alpha Heir in this story. I know he is the future Alpha hence heir but his father (who I assume is the current Alpha), never appears or is mentioned and this heir is managing the pack as an alpha would."

"Readable. Just a bit of confusion towards the end over the names of the rival pack. The Alpha and Beta were both referred to as Rhys. Was also unusual to see the bond written about in a different way and not the all consuming love that usually appears."
Not a werewolf romance that will leave you feeling loved up

"This was a really great story! I enjoyed the creative unique storyline of it. It definitely needs some editing as some parts countered others. There were some parts that were confusing too. Some parts were very fast paced and lacking detail, while other parts were heavily detailed. I think it could be fleshed out a lot more and made into a longer piece. Overall I really enjoyed it! 😄"
