What Remains
"While I am not great about writing reviews, I really enjoyed this story about Livia and Henrique. It keeps the reader hooked and going back for the next chapter! Great reading! Highly recommended!!"
Slow burn
"A very well constructed slow burn. Characters are real people and I liked that, since the writer is Brazilian, her story is set in Brasil. Very good read"
Compelling, Sharp, and Philosophical
""The logic that 'Fate does not insist twice' has always drawn me in..." This book is masterfully built upon that very philosophy. The narrative is so gripping that it never lets you go without making you wonder, "What happens next?" It pushes you forward, step by step, keeping the tension alive on every page. A truly enjoyable read that keeps the curiosity peak—brilliant work."
Addictive
"Such an addictive read! I love it so far and can’t wait to binge it all!"
What remains
"It seems like a lot of him skirting around her feelings.. you are a great writer. Where's the excitement of a new relationship? It seems like it's all about her and her not being able to cope with things. Like she is a scared rabbit and everyone has to confirm all the time that she's okay?.."
I love it!
"This starts off with a really catchy beginning and just gets better from there. I love how really the MC’s are and they have that realistic slow burn vibe that you don’t get to find in most books, making this a true gem to find! I love the direction of where it’s going and am really enjoying watching Livia as she lowers her guard to Henrique and lets him in and I love how he unknowingly made room for her in his life and it wasn’t regretted when he did realize it. I can’t wait to see their happy ever after. If you haven’t given this book a read, you should. You won’t be disappointed. "
Two Worlds, One Love
"This is a story that draws you into two different worlds — his and hers. Two completely different lives that meet by chance, changing everything for Henrique and Livia. The author beautifully captures the heroine’s emotions and inner conflicts in a way that feels real and relatable, making it easy to see yourself in her as a reader. It’s a love story that keeps you turning the pages, wondering whether they will manage to bring their worlds together and find happiness... or if circumstances will prove stronger than them."
A lovely unexpected encounter🖤
"Contemporary slow-burn romance that explores connection, trust, and emotional autonomy✨ The story follows Lívia, a hardworking law student navigating exhaustion and betrayal, whose structured life is disrupted after an unexpected encounter with Henrique, a controlled and influential man. Both characters are portrayed with psychological depth. Lívia stands out for her resilience and independence, while Henrique’s calm authority gradually reveals curiosity, restraint, and respect for her autonomy. Their dynamic is built on recognition rather than instant romance, which gives the relationship credibility and tension🖤 The emotional impact of the story comes from subtle moments (silence, small gestures, reflections) rather than dramatic conflict. The writing style is minimalist and introspective (..and I 🖤 this style), using short sentences and restrained dialogue to highlight the characters’ inner worlds and create a quiet but compelling emotional intensity.✨"
Well written
"The story is great, especially the internal dialogue. I found the inner thoughts for each POV to be very well-written, capturing both mentalities in a very thoughtful way. I am curious to see how their story will finally end!"
Review
"The writer did an amazing job writing this novel. Livia’s character is well written and I love how strong she is. Her boyfriend betraying him must be really hard for her but she threw him out of her life. Her friends played a great role in this. They didn’t let her cry which shows how close they are and how they are always there for her even when Livia is extremely busy with her life as she is managing everything on her own. Also, they were more determined to find Henrique than Livia was. Then we have Henrique. The best thing about him was that he had been respectful so far. He had respected Livia’s boundaries and chose discomfort but never crossed the line which says a lot about him. His thoughts and emotions towards Livia are well portrayed. I can’t wait to see how their paths get aligned once again. I would highly suggest this novel to readers out there. Great job!"
I love it
"Usually I am a silent reader. But your story bring me to edge I can't stay without giving review. It's a beautiful story. I really started imagining myself in your character. I love it . I am so eagerly waiting for next chapter. "
Really Strong Inner Dialogue
"It's a pleasure to get a glimpse into the feelings and emotions of the character's through not just the dialogue, but the inner dialogue. More than once I've cost myself holding my breath. I feel what they feel. I am thinking what they are thinking. It's a gift to be able to write so beautifully! "
Moods. Vibes. Intense Introspective Scenes.
"Livia and Henrique’s story is a slow burn about two individuals on the opposite ends of the social and financial spectrum who might (or might not) fall in love or have their happily ever after. Or get their second chance at love. Livia not falling head over heels for the wealthier love interest was a pleasant change. While I found myself rooting for them, I also ended up respecting their differences. I can’t wait to discover how their story pans out. When the review was written, the story is a WIP, read unto ch 28. "
I like the grammar
"The grammar is excellent! A lot of authors nowadays lack that and I’m super proud that our skills are being put to a good use. This isn’t what I usally read but it was still intriguing. Keep up the good work!"
