"Yes, their romance was beautiful, but there were some incredibly illogical elements. Sure, the guy spent 14 years manipulating himself out of fear of death. But as an Alpha, shouldn't his wolf side have been more active and deciphered the signs sooner than an ordinary werewolf would? Also, the woman is a scientist. Yes, she knows how to work with silver. But ever since I first heard about the silver issue—wondering how they could even handle or process it without it harming them—it struck me as absurd that a scientist wouldn't give that any thought. She did acknowledge that silver affected their development, but after everything they went through, she never actually investigated it. Two fools suffered for nothing. Anyway, that's how it was..."
