"I enjoyed every aspect of this book and was moved to tears. I’m not sure if it is the representation of Filipino culture, the character developments, or the circumstances that have made these characters who they are, but I felt as if I was experiencing everything each character was. I will definitely keep this book in my “read it AGAIN” list. Beautiful execution, plot & dedication on the authors part! "Hunter is an amazing character he feels so real and something about this story feels more heartfelt than some of your other stories, cried a lot. I usually don’t like the brother’s best friend trope but this was really good. The tramau these characters face and how they help eachother overcome it, just chefs kiss!! "
