"I love this book! It is "It's a Wonderful Life" meets "Field of Dreams!" I could actually SEE the book come to life! The way the author handles the sadness that is bullying should be copied by the unruly parents we see in the stands all too often at ballgames. And the way that the kids rally around one another is a lesson in the importance of being on a team. I would have liked to see more of the friends and their love of baseball and why they had that love for the game. The relationship between the father and sons is spot on! This is a great read for any young teenager. Athlete or not. I look forward to a sequel as I want to see how baseball is played "up there!" Gifted writer. Highly recommended."
