"Strong plot. Really good characters. I agree that editing will only improve the quality of the story. There were inconsistencies with timelines (mother's death) and narratives changed in later chapters to fit for an emotive dialogue. Couple of twists were timed well. Would love for the author to write in the fight scene between Mason and Kain. I felt that that pivotal and crucial moment was vital to closing out the plot. Skipping that significant scene only made for a rushed ending to reach the Epilogue. It's a great plot and storyline. Not an entirely smooth read, speed bumps ahead."
