"As much as this is a love story with so much pain in the middle, it is a story about mean girls. It ends with a happy ending for our protagonist couple, but there is no resolution for the mean girls. I have never understood bullying, how others so desperate to feel superior can squash others with no regard for the damage they caused. Art Mimic’s life Well done "

"A refreshing approach to the Ware genre. Well planned & well executed. A decent length that you can actually sink your teeth in to! As a result, there's very good character development. An interesting FLC & so too the MLC. Both have their flaws and different life experiences, which makes for relatable, multi-layered central Lead Characters & the length also allows for their peripheral close friends to be further developed than perhaps is usual. This is a good aspect of the novel as it makes it more interesting and well rounded, plus it provides room for more complex real life issues, such as grief, transitioning toward adulthood and subsequent responsibilities and decision making. Mental health concerns make an appearance too, along with bullying, feelings of aloneness and actions and consequences (to name a few!). Well written & much better edited than the majority of books 'Beta Rick' is well worth the read. Great job 👏! "

"I liked this book! I usually like more action but this boo was good! There are quite a few things that didn’t get wrapped up. I don’t really care for loose ends! I love some the characters and hate others, it would have been nice to see what happens to Taylor, Penelope and Caroline but they weren’t important characters so…. I know there are more books so maybe Sabs best friend finds a mate? Oh and Charlie!!!! She deserves a good mate…, Emelie kind of fell out of the story, wonder what happens between her and her mate? Anyway I’m off to share, please keep writing "
