On with the story...
Nicole stood at the mirror of the bedroom at her sister’s house where she has been staying since she broke up with her ex-boyfriend. They had been together for three years after meeting in college. He was the star quarterback and she was the head cheerleader. They hit it off and moved in together after college and got settled into love together. He got drafted out of college and is now the star quarterback for the Atlanta Nighthawks, one of the biggest teams in the league for the NFL.
A/N:
Yes I know the football team in Atlanta is really the Falcons but for the story, they are the Nighthawks.
She thought they would have a future together as did her family. She walked into the house and found him in bed with another woman. She packed her stuff and moved out. He used his influence as a famous athlete and put the blame on her saying she was the one who cheated. Her parents took his side and disowned her. Her brothers were in the army and stationed in Iraq and were out of contact. Her sister and husband took her in as she could not get a job or an apartment due to Zach’s influence. Amber and Brad told their parents that they weren’t allowed at their house and they never wanted to talk to them again.
“Hey sis,” Amber said.
“This is my last shot at a job,” Nicole said.
“Why can’t you just release the video and pictures?” Amber asked.
“Because it wouldn’t do any good, they would say it’s fake,” Nicole said.
“Brad can use his tech magic and send it anonymously and not have it traced back to us,” Amber said.
“If I don’t get this job, I’ll consider it,” Nicole said.
“I can’t believe he is doing this to you, he’s the one who cheated and your life is the one being destroyed while he’s the angelic star quarterback,” Amber said.
“He’s got a lot of fans and followers,” Nicole said.
“I’m worried about you sis,” Amber said.
“I’ll be okay, thank you for standing by me,” Nicole said.
“Kevin and Matthew would too,” Amber said.
“They are due to call tonight, I want them to concentrate on their mission over there instead of what’s happening here,” Nicole said.
“They are calling us first before our sperm and egg donor,” Amber said.
“How could they take his side over mine? How could they believe him over me? He’s not their son, I was their daughter!” Nicole said.
“Sis, calm down, karma will get them all, someday the truth will come out,” Amber said. Nicole nodded and hugged Amber and left.
