THE RETURN
I have lived in this town for years—six, to be exact—
nestled in my grandmother’s home,
studying for the future,
working to cover the little extra life demands.
Everything was fine.
No—everything was more than fine. It was peaceful.
Until she appeared.
It took only a heartbeat to know—
Those dark, sharp eyes were impossible to forget.
And just like that,
the quiet I had built began to splinter.
Why did she have to appear?
Why here, of all places?
I never wanted her in my world again…
Yet there she stood, right beside me.

I'm telling you, you're going to be a great author one day, just believe in yourself 🎀
I found you, didn’t I? And I think I understood the meaning behind it… didn’t I? For me, this story kept me on edge from start to finish. I loved the bond between An ran—they were truly such good friends, and it warmed my heart. If I had one wish, it would be for a slower pace; I wanted more moments between the leads to savor. Still, I absolutely loved this story! And I can’t help but hope we get Aunt Zeyu’s backstory someday—her character feels so intriguing. Fingers crossed the author treats us with more!.
