"I don’t even know how to describe this book properly because it isn’t like any dark romance I’ve read before. Most dark romances seem to follow the same story with cookie cut-out characters, but this story goes far deeper than that. It’s dark, twisted, emotional, and at times genuinely uncomfortable in the best way. The characters are flawed, damaged, and complicated, and somehow the author makes you care about every single one of them, even when they’re doing some pretty awful things. What impressed me most was the emotional depth. Beneath the darkness, violence, obsession, and tension is a story about healing, belonging, loyalty, and finding people who see every broken piece of you and stay anyway. The writing itself is immersive and gripping and I read into the night when I first started the book. If you’re looking for a sweet, fluffy romance, this isn’t for you. But if you love dark romance that isn’t afraid to explore difficult themes while still delivering heart, emotion, and unforgettable characters, then this book is absolutely worth reading."
