Captivating
"I read the book without pause. Loved the dynamics between Anna, Andrew and Killian. And after Anna and Killian become a thing, how Andrew reacts, being all big brother and possesive. It was also quite funny. The plot is very good, and I was appaled when the book ended with a cliffhanger. Thankfully the next book excisted already "

Discovering her Love!
"Anna has been dealt a rough hand in her life. She was forced to witness the slaughter of her entire pack from vicious rouges, werewolves who have no home and rape and kill just for fun. Eventually she manages to escape into the woods with her mother's dying words echoing in her ears. "You must survive Anna. Survive, if you can!" But survival is difficult without food, water or a proper pack to call her own. Anna wonders if she herself will become a rogue. Then she remembers her mother's advice to find the Silver Moon Pack and join them for protection. She travels through a secret passage way inside of mountain hoping to find them. Instead Anna is confronted by more vicious rogues who thirst for her blood. When all hope is lost, she is saved by a magnificent black wolf. Powerful and vicious, he easily rips the rogues apart, who die in a mortifying ways. Anna is left alone surrounded by their corpses and the magnificent beast himself who shifts into a physically attractive and imposing Alpha otherwise known as the Rogue King. "You are safe," he assures Anna. But can she trust him? Anna isn't sure. Especially with the way his eyes delve into hers, filling her with a desire she has never experienced before. My suspicion is that the Rouge King will eventually become her mate, but that is by no means a guarantee. Author Maggie Dee has a way of defying our expectations, like how the Rogue King fought against his own kind and I for one applaud her for that. There's also a secret Anna's mother keeps hinting about and I'm dying to know what it is. I'm definitely hooked. I hope poor Anna finds happiness at last. "

"I really enjoyed reading this! I think it's an intriguing plot that leaves you in eager anticipation for the next book, although I feel like it ended in an awkward spot. I like the way the "jealous chosen mate" theme was approached; yes it's been done before, but is written in a way that keeps you guessing. It is paired well with other plot elements to still give you a different story from what's already out there. I also really loved all the characters, their inner wolves, and the relationships between them. Once part 2 is finished, I'd LOVE to see a story for Andrew and maybe even the twins?! Maybe wishful thinking 😉"
