Although, like Kaia at the beginning, I know absolutely nothing about hockey!! 😂😂 And that's because this novel has so many strengths: - A great romance where the girl isn't crushed by the handsome millionaire's will. - A relationship that, while it has its ups and downs, is realistic and (generally) healthy. - A story where the protagonists learn from their mistakes without dragging out the drama forever. In short, highly recommended! 😌👌💯 I can't wait to read the second book, to see if Laura's mysteries are revealed!! 😆"
Intertwined with talent!
"The first two novels character perspectives are intertwined with talent. The plot was solid and believable and kept me clicking to the next chapter. I love the depth of the romance—seemed genuine. I don’t know anything about hockey, so I found myself skimming a little in the game time sections. There could be a little more depth/fear in Kaia’s anxiety of Lexi. I couldn’t really feel her emotion build when she was anticipating Lexi’s next appearance. I also think Laura and Tom’s timeline was a bit rushed especially with her meeting his family after going through such an intense ordeal with Lexi. Not trying to be too critical because I just read 821 pages over a few days! Great writing and thank you for sharing!"

A Refreshing Romance
"With 14 chapters left in Book 1, Hockeyed and Pucked has me completely hooked. Kaia and Daniel are fantastic characters. I love that Kaia doesn’t jump to conclusions; her mature, logical approach is so refreshing. Daniel’s fall-first charm makes him instantly lovable, and his balance of defending Kaia while letting her stand up for herself is chef’s kiss perfection! The plot, writing, and romance are stellar. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to finish reading!"

"This book is a Love Story, through and through! Kaia is a down to the earth small business owner, and Daniel is the Captain for the hockey team. Lexi is a psycho ex, and Daniel's mother is a stuck-up wench who loves Lexi the EX, not Kaia. This story does NOT lack for twists and turns. Great friends abound at many turns including Laura, Kaia's BFF. Haven't found a better hockey story as of YET!!"
