We get several point of views fueled with different emotions - the worry, love and pride of a parent, the turmoil of being an undeveloped young adult and the pain of being a victim. The author knows how to pull you into each moment. The story did not drag out and was perfectly paced. Definitely recommend for a unique take on lineage in fantasy. Thank you for sharing."
