"I liked that Anika was actually able to get away from the mother-in-law and the scheming female beta. I disliked the fact that Hunter was so blind to the fact that he couldn't see how Anika was being treated and humiliated. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone who loves to read about werewolves or lycans."

Engaging story with characters that resonate
"I'm enjoying the story so far. I’d love to see Jasmine’s scheming exposed soon. She’s already moved from blackmail and conniving to outright attempted murder, and it feels like the right time for her to be exposed. I’m more conflicted about Hunter. He was a truly awful partner, believing his mother and Jasmine over his own wife, and for a long time it was hard to root for him. But he’s shown real growth—taking over Neo’s caregiving and being present for his nephew. While it's definitely too late for any reconciliation between him and Anika, I hope he still gets the chance to come full circle. I’d like to see him move on from pining after Anika as the one who got away, redeem himself, and eventually build a real relationship with his daughter. Maybe I just have a soft spot for morally grey characters but I'm crossing fingers for Hunter's redemption. This story has drawn me in and I'm looking forward to the chapter updates."

68 chapters in and no end in sight.
"I'm done. This is taking forever, the readers are starving for content and being drip fed by a faulty tap. This had such potential, a scorned mate who finds out her "family" wants her dead so the Alpha can marry his boyhood girlfriend instead, she runs away to college and after that is visiting another pack and finds out she's the Alpha's second chance mate. I was expecting a good vengeance tale and the first part of that looked like it. But it doesn't stay fixed, they show up later on for another bite at the apple, so to speak. If this ends before chapter 100 I will be amazed but I no longer have the patience for this story. Nothing needs to be that long. Finish it at 50 and write a sequel, people who paid the sub tier for one would likely buy the sub tier for the next one, so where's the risk? For the most part the initial plot line is over with. Former alpha dealt with, enemies dead. MIL dealt with, only the chosen Luna remains to cause mischief but I don't think the author knows where to go with that part of the story. The scorned mate is never getting together with her former Alpha, nothing indicates that's a possiblity, not should it be. The former alpha is left to suffer his consequences mostly alone, that's vengeance enough for me. Thank you for the story as written, I enjoyed it right until it didn't know where to end. "
