Well if I was in this situation well let's just say, I would have acted the same way as Elara Thorne accept worse likely, highly possible yes indeed she was my favourite all time character without giving much away there. Well future readers all I'm saying this is a must read story without telling any readers the story in my review. As Cryptic here likes to say she never kisses and tells the whole story away. I loved this story oh the drama, the romance and the mystery yes was a delight say the least. Found myself getting carried away with this story with what was happening. Overall the flow was brilliant, easy to read, development and structure spot on and characters amazing. Twists and turns love it, future readers make sure you keep up. "

"Forced proximity. Billionaire male lead. Forgotten memories. “This was nuclear- level disbelief with a side of existential crisis.” (Quote:Elara the female lead). This story is filled with incredibly witty one liners. The female lead has a really interesting and vivacious way of describing the world around her, finding humor in scary situations. The drama within scenes is well written, but some of the transitions between scenes could be better signposted. Some of the plot points - like why Javier felt it was important to stay married - could have been explained in more depth. The gramma and spelling is good snd the author has a strong narrative voice that draws readers into the scenes. The spice level is moderate. There is some violence but none described in graphic detail or glorified. "

"I started this book because I loved the concept that it was a mystery and they couldn't remember what happened. I thought they might investigate together and become closer through that. I didn't get what I was hoping for and put it down and then forgot about it 😳 But when I picked it up again I remembered why I stopped reading. Unfortunately this book didn't resonate with me, and I didn't like the characters enough to want to spend any more time with them. Both are annoying! Neither show care or consideration for the other. Elara is a brat, constantly griping and bickering about things. I have no idea why Javier likes her or wants to stay married. He treats Henderson terribly, he strikes me as a poor leader if he won't hear the opinions of others. I wasn't convinced by the plot, why Elara didn't contact Chloe or Ben, why a penthouse would be draughty and why you'd go to a store for a date? Why would you go to a wedding when someone's after you? The opulence isn't appealing to me either."
