I cannot rate a plot that doesn't conclude
"I enjoyed the story, the characters are well described, the plot is solid with a bit of mystery. It could have more of it. Nonetheless, the characters are developing well. I understand there's a third book coming, but I am not a fan of books leaving readers hanging ... just for the sake of it. It just doesn't fell finished. Whether happy or sad, it needs to have a finish, to properly close a chapter. The next book can then have another plot. "

Compelling Story
"Recommend both books! Compelling stories and characters. Love Gabi’s best friend - brings levity and some laughs in the middle of the drama. There were a few inconsistencies: a character stands up but then they’re inexplicably getting up from the floor a couple paragraphs later. Couple others I don’t recall. Didn’t detract too much from the story but did cause some momentary confusion. Overall, I commend the author for interesting characters and good plot. "

"I really enjoyed reading 1 and 2. In fact, I binge-read 2 all the way through. I like all of the characters but my favorites are Tess and Amara. I also like Rowan and Marcus. The writing was strong, but toward the middle and end, the punctuation started slipping. But not enough to disrupt the story. I can't wait for book 3."

"This book is exciting and fast paced. I love the characters. I can't wait to see Gabi's powers come to life. It feels like a pity that she is still struggling. How is it that Sera was never exposed by the Alpha? So many questions. I hope the third book answers them. "
