Not bad, but not a romance.

"Okay writing, but a little on the dramatic side with formal writing despite being a modern setting. There is very little in the way of romance between the main characters. Spoiler alert: By the start of the second book they are somehow already mated even though there was hardly any progress in the way of romance during the first book. The romance is skipped over completely. They do have a friendship and the book is pretty well written overall."
