"I really love this theme of anonymity, crossing paths with someone, not knowing they'd become someone so significant in your life, someone you never knew you needed. The beautiful thing about this story is how Austin saw James in a way no one else ever did. He caught glimpses of his true personality under all his armor. Loving someone so guarded takes extreme patience. Coming from someone who knows what it's like to mask to protect yourself, I empathized with James so deeply and I was deeply touched by the way Austin handled him. Seeing how that trust and patience played out beyond the sexual aspect of their d/s relationship was my favorite part. This was beautifully written. ♥︎"

The pacing is spectacular, the trauma traumas without being gratuitous or unbelievable, the attraction predates the love but the love is posseive as all fuck. And the spice is 🤌🥵❤️🔥 fucking perfect all the pun intended. So yeah stop thinking about it and just read it like a good boy/girl "
